The Required Links Page
What would a website be without a links page? Nothing! So, therefore, here
is a completely random collection of links that I like, or have found. By the
way, if you're a friend of mine and have a website that I don't know about
or have not listed here, please email me and
let me know!

People I Know's Websites
-
- The Vixen's Lair
- My friend Kristin's site, very interesting... ;-)
- Shay's Playground
- My friend Shay's website. She's an awesome writer.
-
- Tashari.Org
- Sarah's wonderful artwork. Check it out!
- Sam I Am
- Sam's website. Cool stuff. :)
Media
- Utne
- The best of the alternative media - a must read.
- Clamor
- An excellent magazine - really is "New Perspectives on Politics, Culture,
Media and Life."
- The BBC News
- One of the best sources for international, fairly balanced news.
- National Public Radio
- In my opinion, one of the best sources for news. Audio broadcasts online,
some transcripts.
- Witchvox
- The news links come from all over the world, and keep one up to date on religious
news and issues, as well as other articles of interest about politics,
the environment, science, society, etc. One of the first sites I visit every
day.
Medieval Studies - Basic Links
- The Robin Hood Project, University of Rochester
- Looking for Robin Hood medieval ballads, any period poetry, or 19th century
illustrations? Go here.
- The Viking Answer Lady
- The best site on Vikings out there.
- Early British Kingdoms
- A good source for post-Roman Britain studies.
- NetSerf
- Basic medieval subject links, well organized.
- The Internet Medieval
Sourcebook
- Excellent resource for all periods of medieval history. Selections from
texts, full texts, in translation. I cannot recommend it enough.
- The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle
- Online at ORB. Definitely cool stuff.
Random Links
- Lucky Fish Art
- Where I got the design for my first tattoo. Wonderful, fanastic art.
- Chiff & Fipple
- Excellent site for tin whistler fanatics.
-
- MuggleNet
- Good source for Harry Potter news.
- StarTrek.com
- Raised and will die a Trekker, that's me.
- The Internet Movie Database
- This is pretty much a one stop shop for info about movies and television.
- WRNX
- My favorite radio station.
- Peter Paul and Mary
- The only musical group I have here, because to list all the musicians I like
would be a page in itself. But PP&M
were the first concert I ever attended.
- The Principia Discordia
- Very cool!!!
- The Solitary Practicioner's
basic Guide to The Druids and Celtic Mysticism
- The title is pretty self-explanatory. Crucial to the discovery that there was a set of beliefs out there that were mine, and had a name! This is unfortunately not the author's most up to date version, because that went poof! presumably because he stopped attending the University of Guelph. But this is an older edition, and still pretty damn cool.
- Cabaret Discordia
- Funny and profound at times.
- Canadian World Domination
- I hope the Canadians take over the world. Things would be much neater, cleaner,
politer, and we'd be able to use the loonie in the States.
- The Curse Engine
- Learn how to say certain phrases and insults in Gaelic. Very cool if you want to tell someone that you hope Monica Lewinsky eats their shorts.
- Google
- My favorite search engine.
- The Last Page of the Internet
- Just what it sounds like.
